This week, we will be reviewing for the Chapter 4 Exam which will be on January 24th. Monday, we will watch a video on Louis Riel and the creation of Manitoba as Canada's 5th Province. Wednesday's class will be the Great Canadian Geography challenge. Friday's class will be spend reviewing the topic the Northwest to 1870.
This week, we will look at the death of Thomas Scott. We will examine whether his execution was justified. We will also look at the impact that Louis Riel had on the creation of Canada's fifth province: Manitoba.
This week we will be looking at the history of Canada from 1815 to 1840. We will look at the impact of the Industrial Revolution on Canada in the 1830's. We will also be looking at the impact the "Late Loyalists" and the "Great Migration" had on our development. Also, we will be looking at the changing government structure of Canada between 1791 and 1840.
